Trivia

  • This is the first appearance of Hefty Ma, Big Daddy's wife and the mother of Wanda and Blonda, who now lives seperately from her husband after she found out that he cheated on her with Mama Cosma.
  • It's revealed how Big Daddy got his Mr. Neigh-Neigh plushie. Originally, it was given to him several decades ago on his birthday by one of his workers named BoJack, who gave him a whole pink horse plushie. Big Daddy only wanted the head as a homage to a mafia movie that he saw, so Hefty Ma ordered Franco to slice the head off the plushie and gave it to her husband.
  • This is the only speaking appearance of Wanda and Blonda's cousin, Guido.
  • Robert Costanzo voiced Franco the Butcher in this episode instead of his original voice actor, Daran Norris.
  • This episode reunites Rick Pasqualone and Robert Costanzo, who both did voicework in the game Mafia II as Vito Scaletta and Joe Barbaro.

References

  • The Godfather - Big Daddy wanting a pink horse head plushie as a birthday present as a homage to his favorite mafia movie is a reference to the Godfather.
    • Hefty Ma saying "Leave the head, take the torso" after she cuts the plushie's head off is a reference to Pete Clemenza's line "Leave the gun, take the cannoli" from the same movie after Rocco Lampone kills Paulie Gatto.
  • BoJack Horseman - One of Big Daddy's former workers is named BoJack, who was named after the titular character of BoJack Horseman, where Margo Martindale, Hefty Ma's voice actress, had recurring voice roles as herself.
