  • I've created a special series just for you: Charmander33's Fairly Odd Stories.

If you ever feel like writing any more episodes in the future, you should put them there, as long as you agree not to write any more episodes for The All New Fairly OddParents!, The Amazing Adventures of Sally and Stan and The Fairly OddParents: The Next Generation. Deal?

  • I must say, though, after experiencing this debacle with Garette39 (I'm sure he'll be back to spam even more), you and CommanderM3 feel like a step up, at least you're actively helping me out instead of constantly spamming pages with lazily copied information from other pages.

    • Just because you worked on some episodes, that doesn't mean you're officially hired back. I repeat, you may still edit the old episodes you've worked on/created, but you can no longer make any new ones. Capiche?

  • Charmander33, not trying to be rude, but I think you've had enough for my fanfic. At first, I thought it was kinda cute in how you've made some of these episodes, but now, it's getting really old and annoying. So, please, stop it. No more of that animals stuff and old cartoon stuff-based episodes. You can edit your old written episodes as much as you want, but remember this: you can no longer make new episodes on The All New Fairly OddParents!, or it's spin-off, The Amazing Adventures of Sally and Stan and the sequel, The Fairly OddParents: The Next Generation. So, in a way, you're fired. From now on, leave my fanfic alone. You've served your time here well, but I think it's time to stop. Overall, though, thanks for contributing.

    • I thought I told you that you were fired. Next time you write an episode, think of a story that doesn't heavily involve booby birds, or dragons or whatever kind of animal you bring in!

        Loading editor
    • Well, at least you listened to me about writing not another story about animals. But I hope that's the last time you'll ever write for any of my fanfics. Leave them alone, okay?

  • You make episodes based on certain books and shows, but never include them on the main page of "The All New Fairly OddParents!". Seriously, what's up with that? If this keeps up, you may never work on this fanfic series again.

And if you really want to base certain stories on various cartoons, books and whatnot in the future, start your own series instead.

  • 5 Modern Problems of FOP

We all know the story. Once upon a time, The Fairly OddParents used to be such a great show. I don't think it was so amazeballs as everyone says; it did have couple of issues, dumb moments and a few lame episodes such as it’s a Wishful Life but the show was really humorous, adventurous and imaginative back in old days. Now, it's just beating the dead horse because it's going on for so long and it should've canceled the show a long time ago. However, just because a show is going on for so long, that doesn't mean it can't be fresh again. Shows like South Park, American Dad, Adventure Time and even The Simpsons and SpongeBob at some points continue to be strong. The last season of South Park was one of the best stuff from TV of 2014. Why can't that happen to The Fairly OddParents? Sure, there are still good episodes to find like Terrible Twosome or Cosmomonopoly but even with good episodes, we can't get rid of main problems why the show isn't fun to watch anymore and I'm going to talk about them.

Now, these are my personal opinions why the show is in so pain these days, so you can be free to disagree or tell me couple of flaws that I haven't even figured it out. Here we go.

    5. Adding New Characters Over and Over

I know this is the main reason why a lot people lost hope to FOP but I put this one lower on the list because It doesn't bother me as much as other four reasons. Why? Because adding a new character can bring some fresh and clever ideas to table. Poof for example. I know I’m going to get a lot of complaints for this but I think Poof's addition barely affected the show for worse. In fact, it was one of the best things that come on modern FOP. Yeah, we've had a lot toilet and vomit humor in the season that he was introduced but it was unfocused on later seasons thank goodness and Poof actually brought some really humorous and fresh episodes such as Bad Heir Day, Terrible Twosome (WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THAT?), Chicken Poofs and Mission Responsible and he had enough screen time to made us care for him. Foop's addition was alright, except for something that I'll talk about soon but I can see why he was added in the show. After Sparky, yeah I can definitely see why people are so pissed off about this. Now, I don't hate Sparky, he's an okay character and he can be helpful at times but he didn't need at all. He was just there for bringing dog humor and being a stupid comic relief that we've already have too many for the show. Not the mention, his existence is a huge continuity issue to the show. In the first live-action movie, Cosmo said Timmy needs to look up for this dog but Wanda said he never had a dog. That doesn't make any sense. Did Sparky make himself disappear from the show in an upcoming episode for something like that? And lastly, Chole, which is a new character that we are getting in the new season and it, was the last straw. Adding a new character over and over doesn't make the show better, it makes it more uninteresting because we have to focus on another new character and completely ignore the previous ones. Poof was ignored a lot when Sparky came actually and people were getting used to Poof and not the mention the lack of old characters but I'll talk about them soon. Also adding a new character over and over makes a show even lazier because that means you barely can find a new material for the show these days, so make characters that their personalities were seen before in older episodes, so people can come back to the show. NOPE, It's opposite of it, more people stop watching the show but still it's getting renewed for no reason.

    4. Too Much Running Gags and Random Moments

These type of gags have been on the show for so long but these days, it's getting more and more annoying. I'm fine with running gags, as long as you make something new out of it or not milk it too much. With these days, FOP has been focusing on running gags too much. The gags feel so forced right now. You get annoyed by it instead of laughing at it. We get these jokes; please make a different joke instead of keeping up with same over and over. As for other gags, they are just random slapstick. Ok, I can get a laugh at some slapstick and random jokes in FOP but FOP makes too many jokes like that and it makes jokes so fast and so loud that you can't help but get annoyed by it. The random jokes make no sense. Heck, they even pointed it out that action that Cosmo did in season 9 finale makes no sense. Why can't it just make one liner jokes like Gravity Falls do or use random gags properly like Gumball? The gag in the new episodes makes the show even harder to watch.

    3. Overuse of Mr. Crocker, Mr. Turner and Foop

This is becoming more and more of a problem to me, especially when you add a new character. These characters get focused on TOO MUCH in new episodes. Besides running gags, these characters are the only humor the show has and what these characters have in common? They are the dumbest characters in the show. Well, not Foop but he can act so dumb at times and Foop is usually the only villain in the show. I don't even know why they stopped focusing on other anti-fairies, pixies or even human characters like Francis and Remy. Yeah, I can laugh at some of Foop's shenanigans but seeing Foop is getting old and I want to see a different villain besides Foop. And no I'm not talking about Mr. Crocker. Speaking of Crocker, he has flanderazied too much. For crying out loud, he used to be a mad scientist and a pretty threatening villain too. Now, he act to dumb just like Mr. Turner. He can't even see the obvious magic that Timmy's fairies make. Instead, he attacks people and believes they are fairies. He and Mr. Turner are the main focus on the show now. Take a look at season 9 episodes list in FOP Wikia. They are only one or two episodes that neither of these characters appeared. I'm not even joking. I'm sick of seeing these characters. All they do with Mr. Crocker and Mr. Turner are their hatred of Crocker's Mom or Dinkleberg. We get it. Mr. Turner hates Dinkleberg so much and Mr. Crocker hates his mother. We don't need to see them anymore unless they want to do different jokes with them but I highly doubt it. We want to see other characters too like Chester, AJ, Tootie, Vicky (when they don't go overboard with her), Remy, anti-fairies, pixies. You can't just stick with Mr. Crocker, Mr. Turner or Foop, that makes the writing on FOP even lazier.

    2. Reharshing episodes

Now, we are getting to biggest problems. New episodes reharshing old episodes. If you want to know why the show is still having a lot episode, this is one of the reasons why. Not only, this show focused on comic relief characters and running gags; they are also ripping off old episodes. This is a huge reason why season 9 was bleh. Even season 6 through 8 had some fresh and different episodes and I can name a lot fresh episodes in season 6-6-8. For crying out loud, season 9 had a lot of reharsh episodes. Examples:

Dumbell Curve is a rip off of Smart Pants. The Bored Identity is a rip off of Action Packed. Hero Hound is a rip off of Super Zero, Desperate without Housewives is a rip off of Love Struck, Jerk of All Trades is a rip off of Cosmo Rules, and Let Sleeper Dogs Lie is a rip off of Turner & Pooch and for crying out loud, Turner and Pooch is in the same season with its rip off. That's how lazy this show has got gotten? For shame. Most of time, when the episodes in season 9 are not rip-offs they are still uncreative bland episodes that we've seen before. Why can't this show make episodes like Abra-Catastrophe, Wishology, Channel Chasers, Power Mad, Good Ol' Days, Hard Copy, Information Stupor Highway and many more? If writers try harder, I'm sure they'll make really fresh episodes.

AND #1 reason why this show has gotten worse:

    1. CONTINUTY ISSUES!!!!!!!!

This is a worse issue than adding hundreds of new character because if you don't care about your show's continuity, the show stops being a good show. My God, why the show doesn't care about their storylines anymore? Yes, we've had a few plot holes in early seasons but the early crew at least cared for the show's continuity. New crew doesn't seem to give a crap to continuity. I don't mean to bash them, I'm sure they are good people with doing their job but I wish they would be more careful about the continuity and try harder to make really fresh episodes. "Let Sleeper Dogs Die" proves it why FOP doesn't give a crap to continuity anymore. It's one of the worst episodes of all time because the episode ruined the backstory of Mr. Crocker. It has other reasons to be a really awful episodes too but the main reason is that It changed the way of how Mr. Crocker lost his fairies and they shoehorned Sparky into the backstory. That's how the continuity of FOP is so bad. I could give more examples like The Fairy Beginning changing how Cosmo and Wanda met but Let Sleeper Dogs Die explains it perfectly. FOP isn't like Ren and Stimpy, which is a show that can ignore the continuity. FOP had a lot storyline going on but newer episodes ruined most of it.

I hope I explained it well why this show is suffering these days. Feel free to agree or disagree. I hope I wasn't too harsh on the new episodes of the show but I'm still bothered by these problems of new episodes of FOP. The show has gone from one of the most creative cartoons to one of the laziest cartoons of all-time. I don't even want this show to have a good series finale anymore because we've already have a lot episodes to choose which one is the best way to end the series. Just put it out odd its misery already. People barely watch the show or talks about new episodes.
