• When Vicky was under the effect of Cupid's arrow, she redecorated her bedroom to be like Tootie's bedroom in the episode "Boy Toy", complete with a Timmy shrine carved out of stone.
  • The convertible that showed up in Tootie's nightmare is the same one used by Dolores-Day Crocker in the canon episode "The Odd Couple".
  • Tootie dons her ninja costume from the canon episode "Dread 'N' Breakfast".
  • This is the first time that Mark Chang appreared in his Justin Jake Ashton disguise.
  • The Anti-Love Plungers make a return from the episode "Stupid Cupid".
  • Vicky traps Timmy by giving him a phone pretending that Trixie's calling him, but it sprays knock-out gas into Timmy's face, similar to how she trapped Chip Skylark in the episode "Boys in the Band". Both Timmy and Chip wake up to be tied up in chains and a padlock.
  • Since the Anti-Fairies showed up in Tootie's nightmare, it's possible that she's aware of Anti-Fairies' existance.
  • When Tootie sees Timmy and Vicky kissing while spying on them, she screams and says "It burns!" while covering her eyes, similar to grown-up Timmy's reaction to his parents kissing in the canon episode "The Big Problem!".


  • Lady and the Tramp - At one point, Timmy and Vicky eat spaghetti like in the 1955 Disney film, Lady and the Tramp, when Tootie and Ivan spy on them.
  • Avatar: The Last Airbender - At one point, when Vicky talks with Timmy, she maniacally exclaims that they could be the world's strongest couple and dominate the Earth, which makes Timmy terrified, similar to how Azula attempted to flirt with Chan in the Avatar: The Last Airbender episode "The Beach". Both Vicky and Azula are voiced by Grey Griffin.
  • The Simpsons - When Vicky snaps out of her love trance and Ivan tells her that she kissed Timmy, she spits in disgust, similar to the ending of the Simpsons episode "Bart Gets an "F"", where Bart does the same after realizing he kissed his teacher, Mrs. Krabappel, when he was excited that he passed the test by getting a D-.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants - When Jorgen and Cupid appear in Timmy's room at 3 in the morning, Cosmo asks if people usually eat at this time of day, referencing the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Graveyard Shift", where Squidward asks "Who wants a Krabby Patty at 3 in the morning?" and cutting to a scene where Patrick does exactly that.
  • Scarface - When Ivan and Tootie arrive to save Timmy from Vicky's clutches, Ivan says to Vicky "Say hello to my plunger friend.", similar to Tony Montana's catchphrase "Say hello to my little friend!" from the 1983 movie Scarface.
